Forum posts, displayed Minecraft names, chat tags and leaderboard scores are public. Avoid sharing private personal details in public posts.

Ban appeals, bug reports, beta signups, staff applications and Media applications are restricted to their author and the staff roles that need them. Beta signup counts are public; individual signup details, including the contact you provide for beta updates, are private. In-game bug reports can include world, location, edition and server version. Private staff notes are not shown to players.

New beta registrations send the owner an email through FormSubmit containing the Minecraft name, edition, reservation or waitlist status and signup time. Your contact detail is not included in these alerts; it stays in the private website roster. The email service processes the alert fields to deliver the message. Withdrawing removes your contact from the active roster and cancels unsent alerts, but an alert already sent may remain in the owner inbox. Contact Rift about access, correction or deletion.

Minecraft linking verifies your in-game identity without asking for your Microsoft password. Essential browser cookies maintain your login and private guest appeal or beta-management access. Keep recovery references and link codes secret.

Server logs and moderation records help investigate cheating, suspicious mining, duplicated reward tokens and abuse. Public connection addresses may be correlated using a server-private keyed hash. Correlation records expire after 30 days and are visible only to admins and owners; sharing a connection is not proof of alternate accounts. Staff review evidence before acting.

When activated, proxycheck.io receives a connecting public IP address to check for VPNs or proxies. Private LAN, local and shared-carrier addresses are excluded. No Minecraft name or UUID is sent with the lookup. This integration is currently prepared but inactive until an API key is configured. An incorrect restriction can be reviewed by staff.

When checkout opens, the payment provider handles payment details under its own privacy notice. Do not send card details to Rift. Hosting and essential service providers may process data needed to run the community. Provider details and any optional analytics will be disclosed before use.

Public posts remain until removed; private applications and support records are retained while needed for their case, moderation history or applicable legal obligations. Withdrawing a beta signup removes its contact detail from the active roster. Limited access logs and dated backups support recovery. Closed security investigations are retained for review and audit.
